'Our' Missionary

We have had a very busy couple of weeks. Warren and I went to Utah to see our eldest grandson, Trey Robinson, off to the Missionary Training Center in Provo. After 12 weeks of language training and learning three long sets of characters, he will be going to the Japan Fukuoka mission for two years. We are so proud of him and his accomplishments! Seven of our nine children were able to be at Trey's farewell. Ron and Scott were unable to come. All seven of them got on the trampoline at Robinsons' for a typical Sorensen romp. It was so fun. We also had a blast playing 'Signs' on Sunday afternoon. I think there were about 20 of us playing, so it was a real challenge to remember everyone's signs. Thanks Anita for teaching us a fun new game!

Trix, Trey and Warren at the MTC

We also got to drive by the Draper, Utah temple on the last day of dedication.

The following Wednesday, March 25th, after seeing Trey off at the MTC, we drove to Logan in a total white out and this is how Logan looked when we arrived! BURRRRR

We came home to an overgrown garden and are now picking ripe cucumbers and watching our tomatoes slowly start turning red. The cilantro and parsley were seriously overgrown and needed cutting back. The radishes are done and I have started a new crop. The lettuce is great, but nearing the end. More photos later, I think.

i was sad to miss seeing you guys while you where here. my mom told me how you stopped by to visit her. it's always good to see you, hopefully next time i will catch you.

it looks like you had so much fun, i always get teary-eyed just looking at MTC pictures...so many wonderful memories. i think that was the first place i ever saw my Dad cry when Craig was leaving. it really is such an emotional experience.

i also must say that is a very strong trampoline and some very brave people to all get on it at the same time. oh and i love that Signs game, i haven't played that for years...fun stuff:)
